IT/Server Administration
We are looking for a new collective member for the server and computer support of the AStA (General Students’ Committee) of the TU Berlin, starting September 1, 2026.
What is there to do?
Together with another person, you will manage the computer
infrastructure of the General Students’ Committee of the TU Berlin. The
tasks include, among other things, the administration of the mail,
terminal, print, backup, and web servers, as well as the terminals,
printer-copiers, and the network infrastructure. In addition, you will
help further develop our in-house software.
The following skills are desirable:
- Experience in the administration (hardware and software) of Linux systems with the aforementioned services
- Experience in web programming with the programming languages Python
(Django) or Ruby (Rails). Experience with Unix scripts, e.g., Bash. - Independent participation in communication with other AStA departments as well as the central university IT administration
- Ability to work in a team, social competence, reliability, open and friendly nature
We are looking for politically engaged people and would be pleased if
you also get involved in the AStA beyond the job, participate in
plenary meetings, and support the work of the political departments.
The job offers:
- Working hours of 41 hours per month
- Hourly wage of 17.73 EUR
- A contract duration of 2 years with a desired option for extension
