Social and BAföG Advising

We do NOT do regular counseling by email! Please come to our consulting hours on Tuesday or Friday. Please only send emails if you have a brief question and/or you have a super urgent deadline. Otherwise, we will refer you to our counseling day.

We currently advise Wednesday 10 – 2:30 pm in person at the AStA (building TK 2 on the TUB campus) without appointment and Friday online: https://conference.astatu.berlin/SozialberatungAStATermin 10 – 3 pm without appointment as well. More information below.

On 23.09.2026 advising will be between 12 to 15 in person in the AStA-building.
On 25.09.2026 there will be online advising from 10 to 12:30.
Both without appointment.

Counseling on Wednesday in-person and without appointment

We advise on Wednesday in the AStA without an appointment and in presence from 10:00 a.m.- 2:30 p.m.

Please, remember to bring all the important documents!

We cannot guarantee that everyone will get a consultation.

Counseling on Friday without appointment and by videocall

We will advise in video consultation, you can join online between 10:00 and 3:00 p.m. to https://conference.astatu.berlin/SozialberatungAStATermin.

Please register yourself with an e-mail-address, where we could reach you after the call in case of further information.

Please be prepared to wait a bit, as we do not schedule appointments and aim to assist people on a first-come, first-served basis. Please be patient, we’ll let you into the counseling room as soon as it’s your turn.

We cannot guarantee that everyone will be able to be seen.
