Dear Students,
The following information is relevant to you if you are a resident outside the ABC fare zones.
Starting from the winter semester 2018/19, it is possible to buy an additional ticket or Zusatzticket to the Semesterticket for the complete VBB fare area. Previously, the Zusatzticket was valid only to travel from your place of residence to the nearest stop/train station located in zone C.
The Zusatzticket can be purchased in DB shops. If you have already purchased a Zusatzticket (with a binding route/connection), you can exchange it there for a new one that covers the whole VBB fare area.
The conditions remain unchanged. The transport of a bicycle or another person is therefore not included in the ticket. It is important for you to know that the Zusatzticket is only valid together with the current Semesterticket and a valid photo ID and that you have to present these documents when your ticket is being inspected.
